1. Content Creation for Social Media

When: Friday, March 6, 2020 – 8:30am – 11:00am
Location: Brockville Museum, 5 Henry St, Brockville                                 in Partnership with Brockville and Area Chamber of Commerce

Content creation is a strategic marketing approach focused on creating and distributing valuable, relevant and consistent content to attract and retain a clearly-defined audience — and, ultimately, to drive profitable customer action.

In this session, participants will be introduced to the various types and forms of content for Facebook and Instagram.

Topics will include the importance of images and photography, creating graphics and videos, as well as writing blogs.

By the end of the session, participants will

  • Discuss the importance of content creation
  • Explain the alternate types of content based on their business model
  • Construct content that is engaging and appropriate for their business.

2. Facebook & Instagram Advertising

When: Friday, March 27, 2020 – 8:30am to 11:30am
Location: Brockville Museum, 5 Henry St, Brockville                                in Partnership with Brockville and Area Chamber of Commerce

Facebook and Instagram ads are paid messages from businesses that are developed to reach their potential audience. Advertisers choose images, text and an audience that they think will help them get that increase in visitors to their website, or Facebook Page

By the end of the session, participants will

  • Summarize the importance of Facebook and Instagram advertising
  • Discuss the alternate types of advertising objectives
  • Construct an appropriate target audience based on campaign objectives
  • Design an effective advertising campaign for Facebook and Instagram

3. HR Basics

When: Friday, April 24, 2020 – 8:30am to 11:30am
Location: Grenville Mutual Insurance, Kemptville
