The Lanark, Leeds and Grenville Business Plan Competition was open to new businesses that had been in operation for 1 year or less. There were 33 participants in this years competition. Participants completed a business plan of no more than 25 pages to which supporting charts, tables and pro forma financial statements could be appended was judged by 5 local judges. We would like to congratulate everyone who submitted a business plan as they were all very well done.

Restorative Health owned by Dr. Robert Rodine and Dr. Christine Cordick. Restorative Health is located in Smiths Falls, ON and is a multi-disciplinary and collaborative health clinic offering Chiropractic, massage therapy and naturopathy.

Winners from each region are;

Eastern Ontario Computer Consulting (EOCC) owned by Alex Skacel. EOCC provides a range of computer services to the home user, home-based business and small to medium sized enterprises in Brockville and surrounding area. Alex's company specializes in networking, data security, data recovery and virtualizations.


North Stone Farm owned by Linda Amell and Ray Blairis located on County Road 26. North Stone Farm is a year round one-stop equestrian facility offering boarding, training and lesson programs for riders and horses of all levels.


Getjunkaway owned by Patricia McConnell and Scott Bartlett. Getjunkaway is a junk removal service that concerns itself with the environment. It offers a greener alternative to getting rid of unwanted items and yard waste. Getjunkaway is located in Carleton Place.
